Biography:

Derrian Tolden was born in Houston, Texas on January 26, 1984. As a child he was exposed to music, gymnastics, figure skating, dance, and theater. He has been seen in performance venues and recordings across the nation including Bass Concert Hall, PFA Center, Centroplex Theater, Carnegie Hall, and several Disney recordings.


Derrian is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Vocal performance from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge Louisiana where he has appeared in many LSU Opera Productions. In the summer of 2003 he create Chelsea Divine.

"The name Divine just came to me in the shower...."
After the first sighting of Chelsea by Miss Gay Louisiana America 2005, Dominique DeLorean, Chelsea was eagerly named into the DeLorean family. She then earned her rite as Louisiana's most promising new talent by capturing the title of Splash Drag Queen Idol 2004! In the summer of 2006 Chelsea was crowned Miss Gay Capital City America and went on to place in the top 20 in Miss Gay America 2006 as the first alternate to Miss Gay Louisiana 2006-2007. The very next year she claimed the title of Miss Gay Splash America 2007 and won Miss Gay Louisiana America 2007 joining an 18 year history of sister-hood of the Miss Gay Louisiana America family. The next step is the national title of Miss Gay America 2008 held in Memphis, TN October 17-21.
